House parties
Yes, it fits in your backyard. And your garage. And your kitchen.
The number one question from hosts: “do I have room for this?” Almost certainly. The whole bar lives on one six-foot table and plugs into a normal wall outlet. If your house can host a taco guy, it can host a hat bar.

The host's checklist (it's short)
An 8×6 ft spot
Patio corner, garage bay, dining room wall — anywhere guests can browse one side of a table. Covered space matters more than square footage if there's any chance of drizzle.
One outlet, 25 feet
The press pulls roughly hair-dryer power on a standard 120V circuit. No generator, no electrician, no tripped breakers — we've run hundreds of home parties on kitchen outlets.
A 90-minute heads-up
We arrive about an hour early, carry everything in ourselves, and build the bar quietly. Your only job is pointing at the spot.
Why house parties are the bar's natural habitat
At a venue event the hat bar is an attraction. At a house party it becomes the social engine. Guests cluster around the table, debate patch placement, roast each other's choices, and drift back all night to watch presses. Hosts tell us it dissolves the “two separate friend groups standing in different corners” problem faster than anything else they've tried.
It also solves the house party's oldest flaw: nothing to take home. Every guest leaves wearing the night. Weeks later the hats resurface at the beach, at the gym, in someone's story — and the party gets remembered all over again.
Formats that work at home
- The cocktail-hour bar: two hours, opens with the party, done before dinner is served.
- The all-nighter: a three-hour window that starts late — our crew has pressed hats well past midnight, and the photos from that shift are the best ones.
- The combo table: add the live shirt station and let guests choose their canvas. Popular for joint parties and big blended-family gatherings.
Renting an Airbnb for the weekend? Same rules apply — we just need the address and any HOA quiet-hour notes. More in the house party planning guide.
Your house. Our hats. One great night.
Send the date and a photo of your spot if you're unsure about space — we'll confirm fit same-day.
